We are very pleased to have Ben Rockett speaking at Bike Bath on the Friday evening. Ben promises to give an interesting talk on the challenges of endurance cycling. His bio is below:

Ben is a local rider who is also the holder of the Land’s End – John o’Groats – Land’s End cycling record, having ridden the 1800 mile return journey in 5 days and 21 hours. He is also the author of “There and Back: Breaking the LEJOGLE record”. Ben enjoys riding long distances, and has ridden across continents, around several nations and through Europe as part of the DIsney Snel cycling team. He is a regular 24 hour rider and has previously achieved well over 500 miles in 24 hours. Later this year he is competing at the UMCA 24 hour world championships in California and has a full future calendar for many ultra-distance events.
